The Role: What You’ll Be Doing
We’re seeking a speech-language pathologist to provide speech and language therapy at a partnering school in Shoreline, WA. This role is full-time, Monday through Friday, where you’ll support students and work collaboratively with a team to ensure success in their speech and language development.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Providing push-in and pull-out therapy services based on students’ needs.
- Conducting assessments to analyze strengths and areas of concern in speech and language.
- Collaborating with teachers and other related service providers to develop and implement strategies that support student success.
- Delivering direct and consultative therapy as specified in students’ IEPs.
- Documenting therapy minutes, tracking progress, and maintaining accurate student records.
- Actively participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with caregivers and team members to support student goals.
- Providing additional support to students, families, and IEP teams regarding speech and language development.
- Other duties as assigned to support student needs.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Washington DOH SLP License or ESA Certificate.
- School experience preferred but not required.
- Passion for providing high-quality therapy and making a difference in the lives of students.
