AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services at an Early Childhood Center in Quincy, MA, covering a parental leave from March 20th to June 2nd, 2025. The successful candidate will work directly with preschool-aged students, including those with a range of needs such as Autism, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and behavioral support. This role includes performing evaluations for PreK students and providing speech and language therapy to support students' communication development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for PreK students, assessing communication skills and needs.
  • Provide speech therapy services to children with a variety of communication disorders, including those with AAC needs, Autism, and other behavioral challenges.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy strategies to support student progress.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to coordinate services and ensure consistent support for students.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, treatment plans, and goals.
  • Provide behavioral support and communication strategies to enhance students' social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and concerns.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development activities as required.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Massachusetts (DESE licensure required).
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children with Autism, AAC devices, and behavioral challenges is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood development and effective therapy techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and provide individualized therapy plans.
Compensation:
Hourly $50.70 - $60.31
