Speech-Language Pathologist (Clinical Fellow)

About the role:

  • Collaborates with staff to enhance speech and language development in the classroom setting for students K-8th grade.
  • Completes all job duties within required timelines per federal and state law, district policy, and procedures.
  • Determine eligibility of students for speech therapy services.
  • Use a variety of service delivery models, evidence-based practices, and facilitate professional development for teachers and support staff.
  • Provides accommodations in the classroom including visual aids or supports, or augmentative communication systems.
  • Provide speech and language therapy for eligible students.
  • Participates in team meetings for the development of students’ individualized education programs.
  • Completes relevant paperwork within required timelines per federal and state law, district policy, and procedures.
 

Qualifications:

  • School-based and/or pediatric experience working with K-8th grade children.
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Valid PA SLP license from the Pennsylvania Board of Speech-Language Pathologists.
  • Valid PA Education Specialist Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay Range: $58,130 - $60,370 (based on qualifications and experience).
