Salary: $55,000 – $68,000 (Based on experience)
AnthroMed Education is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced School Social Worker to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with K-12th grade students in a therapeutic day school setting that provides a highly individualized and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide social work services to students with Autism, developmental, communication deficits, and sensory needs.
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to support students' social-emotional development and mental health.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
- Lead and facilitate social skills groups for small groups of students (6-8 students per class).
- Assess and address students' behavioral and emotional challenges in a supportive and therapeutic manner.
- Act as a liaison between the school, families, and external support services to ensure the holistic well-being of students.
- Provide crisis intervention and conflict resolution when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school policies and legal requirements.
- Full-Time, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- 7.5-hour workday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field
- PEL licensure
- Experience working with students with Autism, developmental disabilities, communication challenges, and sensory needs preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Compassionate, patient, and solution-focused approach to supporting students
- Experience in a therapeutic or specialized educational setting is a plus
