Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Social Worker to team up with us and create positive change in the lives of elementary students at a therapeutic school in Highland Park, Illinois. In this unique role, you will be supporting students with SEL and behavioral disabilities. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted support (whole group, small group, 1:1) to identified elementary school students.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies to ensure student well-being and success.
• Advocate for students’ holistic well-being (social, emotional, academic).
• Cross-functional collaboration with teachers and families to understand how to best meet student needs.
• Provide push-in and pull-out services as needed
• Facilitate IEP meetings
• Develop and track interventions to understand IEP effectiveness.  
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work
• LMSW license eligible in the State of Illinois
• Previous experience in a PreK-5 setting preferred
