Early Childhood Speech-Language Pathologist: 2024-2025 School Year
AnthroMed Education is expanding our team of Speech-Language Pathologists who support our students throughout the state of Illinois, and we want you to be a part of our team!We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at a large elementary school in Northlake, IL. You’ll be one of three SLPs in the building, focusing on students within the Early Childhood (EC) program who have higher needs (non-verbal, Autism, etc.). This role will closely mimic a co-teaching model with the classroom teacher.
This Early Childhood Center offers a preschool program with both AM and PM sessions. The classes are very neurodiverse, including blended classrooms. Join us in making a difference in the lives of students!

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-3:45pm (45 min lunch)

Speech-Language Pathologist Duties:
- Complete evaluations to assess speech needs and areas of growth
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to students
- Assist case manager with developing student Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and classroom teachers to meet the students’ speech and/or language needs
- Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans
- Facilitate staff and community training in the area of communication disorders
- Master’s degree in Communication Disorders
- IDFPR license eligible in the state of Illinois
- Professional Educator License (PEL) eligible in the state of Illinois
- Preferred experience in a K-12 setting
