Middle School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

AnthroMed Education is immediately seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide therapy to Middle School students for the 2024-2025 School Year in Crystal Lake, Illinois. POSITION DETAILS FOR THE SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST ROLE:
- Hours: 7:30 AM-3:00 PM.
- Provide therapy to Middle School students.
- Approximately 30-35 students are on the caseload.
- Half of the caseload consists of low-incidence students.
- The other half of the caseload consists of General Education students.
- Collaborate with another SLP who is at this school 4 days a week.
- Extremely supportive team with incredible resources for students available.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF A SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST:
- Provide speech and language therapy for eligible students.
- Complete all job duties within required timelines per federal and state law, district policy, and procedures.
- Act as a case manager for students whose primary eligibility category is speech-language impairment.
- Provides professional development for teachers and support staff.
- Provide speech and language therapy for eligible students.
- Participate in multidisciplinary evaluation teams to identify students in need of special education.
- Participate in team meetings for the development of student’s individualized education programs.
- More duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Professional Educator License (PEL) eligible in the state of Illinois.
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License.
PAY & BENEFITS:
- The pay range for this position is 55,000-65,000K annually, based on qualifications and experience.
- Paid Time Off starts at 6 days and is prorated based on the start date.
