Position Overview: AnthroMed Education is seeking a compassionate, organized, and dedicated School Social Worker to join our team on a full-time basis to support students through June 2025. The role will be split between two schools, with responsibilities at both the Lower School (K-5) and Upper School (6-8). This position provides an opportunity to impact students' social-emotional well-being while collaborating with school staff, families, and external providers to ensure that all students receive the support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
Caseload Management: Manage a caseload of 20-25 students, including conducting assessments, providing individual and group counseling, and developing intervention plans to address students' social-emotional and behavioral needs.
Special Education Support: Collaborate with the educational team to support a student with an IEP from out of state, including gathering data and ensuring appropriate services are provided.
Push-in and Pull-out Services: Provide direct support by pushing into the Social Science block in the mornings and pulling students out for targeted interventions.
Collaboration: Work closely with existing school social workers (K-5 and 6-8) and other staff to support students' emotional, academic, and behavioral development.
Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support during crisis situations, ensuring that students' emotional needs are addressed promptly.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress, interventions, and communication with families and external agencies.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW)
PEL Licensure
Previous experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting preferred.
Strong knowledge of social-emotional development and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail and confidentiality.
Familiarity with IEP processes and working with special education teams is a plus.
