Elementary School Speech-Language Pathologist in Auburn Hills
AnthroMed Education is a therapy group of Speech-Language Pathologists who support children in schools by providing high-quality speech services. We are expanding our team in Oakland County and looking for SLPs who are passionate about providing therapy in schools! The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving students' communication skills and academic outcomes, demonstrating empathy, patience, and a collaborative approach in working with students, families, and school staff.
This role:
We are currently interviewing SLPs and clinical fellows interested in supporting students in the school for an FMLA leave from October to January. This SLP will support one elementary school, including self-contained and ASD classrooms.

Our Process:

Clinical Support:
- Bi-weekly team meetings with all SLPs on our team
- We provide regular one-on-one support with our Clinical Support Director for all SLPs
- Generous materials stipend for the school year
- You will be reimbursed for 100% of your ASHA dues and licensure fees

Responsibilities: - Evaluate student’s speech-language abilities to prepare and conduct treatment plans
- Provide high-quality direct speech-language therapy services to students according to the students’ IEPs
- Conduct assessments, translate, and analyze assessment results, and develop reports to determine strengths and concerns in areas of speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills
- Use professional literature, evidence-based research, and continuing education to make practice decisions
- Create a learning environment characterized by effective and efficient process management strategies (procedures, instructional groups, transition materials)
- Participate in IEP conferences, team meetings, and problem-solving meetings
- Develop treatment plans, in conjunction with instructional staff, that are strength-based, as well as child and family-centered for overall educational improvement
- Ensure evaluations, intervention plans, and service delivery are aligned with school, state, and federal guidelines
- Assist and guide teachers in observing, describing, and referring suspected and identified speech and language delays/disorders
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Internship in a school setting
- Eligible for MI license
