AnthroMed Education is immediately seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide therapy to Pre-K - K students in Gages Lake, Illinois. This role is to help with the overflow of caseloads within the district. The school will interview SLPs and based on their strengths, they will then match them with an appropriate caseload.

Responsibilities:

  • SLP will provide speech and language therapy services to Pre-K - K students full-time, Monday-Friday, from 7:25 am-3:00 pm. 
  • This is a Dual Language school with many different classrooms within the building including life learning (functional classrooms), structured learning classrooms (students on the spectrum), classrooms where students need more support, and gen ed classes.
  • There are 4 other SLPs within the building for support and collaboration.
  • SLP will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to address communication and language disorders.
  • SLP will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in both classroom and individual settings.
  • SLP will maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders.
  • SLP will have their own office space.
  • SLP will utilize Embrace for IEPs.
  • SLP will participate in team meetings, professional development activities, and ongoing training opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Pay & Benefits:

  • The pay range for this position is 54,000-67,000K annually, based on qualifications and experience.
  • Paid Time Off starts at 6 days and is prorated based on the start date.

Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility to obtain CCC-SLP.
