We are currently interviewing Occupational Therapists who are interested in joining our team and working in one of our partner schools in Washington, DC! In this position, you'll be dedicated to a full-time caseload covering a maternity leave that begins in mid-February.

Occupational Therapist Job Description:
Complete evaluations to assess occupational needs and areas of growth
Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to high school students with significant cognitive/intellectual disabilities
Assist case managers with developing student Individualized Education Plans (IEP)
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and classroom teachers to meet the students’ occupational therapy needs
Use play-based and activity-based interventions to engage students in meaningful activities
Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans
Occupational Therapist Requirements:
Possession of a valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist as issued by the District of Columbia Department of Health
Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
Experience working in pediatrics and/or schools is preferred
