School Physical Therapist
AnthroMed Education is currently seeking a School Physical Therapist in LaGrange, IL. This position would be supporting 2-3 school buildings within the district. You would be working with students in PreK-8th grade. This is a very team-centered School District with excellent support from Administration.

Responsibilities:
- Dates: ASAP - June 6th, 2025
- Approximately 35 hours per week Monday-Friday during school hours
- As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in promoting the physical well-being and functional independence of students with disabilities
- You will collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and individualized physical therapy services
- Evaluate students' physical abilities, motor skills, and functional limitations through assessments and observations
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on students' needs and IEP (Individualized Education Program) requirements
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training, and assistive device training
- Monitor students' progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and document observations, assessments, and therapy interventions accurately and timely
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the integration of physical therapy services with the educational program
- Educate and guide teachers, staff, and parents on strategies and techniques to enhance students' physical development and functional skills in the school environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding students' physical therapy goals, progress, and necessary accommodations or modifications
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices, research, and developments in the field of pediatric physical therapy
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state license or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Experience in working with children and adolescents with disabilities, preferably in a school or educational setting
