We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team for an elementary school position that will support students in 1st through 5th grade. This role will be split between two buildings and primarily involve working with general education and resource students. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with educators and other professionals to support students' communication needs and help them achieve success in the classroom. Position Details:

Grade Level: 1st - 5th grade
School Locations: Split between two elementary buildings
Student Population: General education and resource students
Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break
Start Date: Immediate through the 2024-2025 school year

Responsibilities:

Provide speech-language services to 1st - 5th grade students across two buildings.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs.
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Monitor students’ progress and adjust interventions as needed.

Qualifications:

Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (IDFPR) license in the state of Illinois.
Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) in the state of Illinois
Experience working in school settings preferred.
