About the Role:
We are excited to announce a full-time School Social Worker opportunity for the remainder of the 2024-25 school year on Chicagos' West Side. This position offers the chance to work in a K-8th grade school devoted to maintaining balanced caseloads by adding an additional Social Worker to their team.

Your Role:
- Conduct Assessments: Evaluate students’ needs through formal assessments and create appropriate action plans.
- Advocate for Students: Serve as a liaison between students, schools, and community resources to ensure students’ rights and needs are met.
- Promote Positive School Climate: Foster a supportive and inclusive school environment that enhances student well-being.
- Collaborate with Teachers and Staff: Work with educators and school personnel to identify and support at-risk students.
- Maintain Confidential Records: Keep detailed and confidential records of student interactions, progress, and interventions.
- Other Duties as Assigned
Requirements:
- Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work
- IL PEL with an endorsement in Social Work
- Previous experience in a K-12 setting is preferred
