School Social Worker
AnthroMed Education is seeking a School Social Worker to support students in a K-12th grade school for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. This position involves working with students who have IEPs in a supportive and collaborative school environment alongside another School Social Worker.
Position Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: May 28th, 2025
- Caseload: K-12th grade students with emotional and behavioral disabilities
- Schedule: Full-time
- Team Support: Collaborate with another School Social Worker in the building
Responsibilities:
- Provide social-emotional and behavioral support to students with IEPs.
- Develop and implement individualized goals and interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the multidisciplinary team to meet students' needs.
- Maintain documentation and reports in compliance with IEP requirements.
- Act as a resource for staff and families, supporting the social and emotional growth of students.
Qualifications:
- Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement
