Are you a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students? AnthroMed Education is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist professional to join our team and fill in for a leave need at one of our partner schools in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.
Position Overview: As a speech-language pathologist at AnthroMed Education, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' communication and language development. You will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of Elementary students while being supported by the resources and expertise of AnthroMed Education.
Responsibilities:
- Work 2 days a week, beginning March 1st through the end of the school year.
- Provide therapy services to students ages 3-21 in a Self-Contained setting.
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
- Stay current on best practices in speech-language pathology and participate in professional development opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- State licensure in Illinois and certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for helping students achieve their full potential.
