AnthroMed Education is currently seeking to hire a social worker with one of our amazing charter school partners in Washington, DC. We are currently building our DC team as there is a vacancy for the school year. This position is in one building with supportive leadership. You would be collaborating with Teachers, Parents, School Counselors, and other key stakeholders.
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay Range: $63,910 - $81,720 (based on qualifications and experience).

School Social Worker Duties:
- Conduct assessments and provide counseling services to students
- Implement individualized plans to address identified needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to create a supportive school environment
- Act as liaison between the school, families, and community to ensure students receive necessary services
- Provide immediate support and intervention in crisis situations
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for students, parents, and staff on topics related to social skills and child development
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress
Social Worker Qualifications:
- Previous school-based and/or pediatric social work experience is preferred
- Master's Degree or Doctoral Degree in Social Work
- District of Columbia Department of Health Social Work License
