AnthroMed Education is an expanding organization devoted to providing a unique experience for our team of school-based social workers as they provide their services to students. We are currently seeking an empathic and hard-working School Social Worker in Elwood, Illinois for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. The SSW joining will be excited to support a Cross-Categorical age population of K-8th grade students. There is a lot of support provided in this role since you are joining a cooperative! 

Location: Elwood, Illinois 60421

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-3:30 PM.
• Provide social work services to K-8th grade students with different disabilities.
• Work with both IEP and General Education students.
• Manage a caseload of students with a variety of different disabilities. The caseload size is still TBD.
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with other Social Workers and RSPs in the building.
• Provide consistent communication to parents, families, students, and staff.
• May help with crisis situations and behaviors.
• Other duties to be assigned.

Pay and Benefits:

AnthroMed Team Members who work 30+ hours per week are eligible for the full-time employee benefits offered by AnthroMed. The pay range for this position is $54,000-65,000+ annually, based on experience. Hourly pay is also an option. Paid Time Off starts at 6 days and is prorated based on the start date. Benefits begin the first of the month after the start date. Benefits offered include:

Position Requirements:

• Master’s Degree (MSW) in Social Work
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in Social Work
