FMLA Speech-Language Pathologist

AnthroMed Education is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to fill a short-term FMLA leave position in a highly collaborative and supportive school environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dedicated team to support K-5th grade students.

Position Details:

  • Location: Naperville, IL
  • School: Elementary school setting, K-5th grade
  • Schedule: 8:05 AM - 3:50 PM
  • Dates: February - April 
  • Caseload:
    • 16 students in a self-contained classroom
    • All push-in support
  • Team Support: Work closely with a PT, OT, social worker, interventionist, and psychologist.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services aligned with student IEPs.
  • Develop and implement individual goals and strategies to enhance communication and language skills.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
  • Engage in team meetings to discuss student progress and interventions.

Compensation:

  • Hourly: $48.70 - $55.21/hour

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience in school settings is a plus
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
